The British Soap Awards 2008 - Best Actress

Emma Rigby finally wins a major award for her acting, after winning the "Best Actress" catorgaty in the 2008 British Soap Awards, show on ITV on the 7th May (although actually held on Saturday 3rd May).

This award was Viewer voted, and is good recognition for a year of story lines which took her the the brink of death with a eating disorder.

Emma Rigby who plays Hannah Ashworth in Hollyoaks seemed shocked at winning, although she more than deserved to.
