During October 2007 we at Emma Rigby's number one fan site gave you the fans of the lovely Emma Rigby the exclusive chance of asking Emma Rigby what you always wanted to know about her.
These questions were then Sent to Emma Rigby herself (not her agents or press release people), and then Emma Rigby promptly replied.
Below are some of the questions been asked of Emma Rigby, with Emma's own replies.

I like most things, but I love fish and vegetables. My favourite restaurant is The London Carriage Works in Liverpool.

Thank you Hannah, I appreciate your comments. As you might guess I just love clothes in general and I look in every shop when I get a chance. I particularly like 'All Saints', 'H & M', 'Top Shop' and I love to browse round 'Selfridges'. Also there is a great boutique called Elle near where I live and I get a lot of my clothes from there.

Question: Emma, having suffered from anorexia, i think you did a brilliant job of portraying this illness. Did you find it difficult to do all the scenes when she is ill, and how did you research the role? Thanks
Hi, I am sorry to hear that you have suffered with anorexia I hope that you are receiving lots of help and support. I did find the scenes very emotionally and physically draining but I had good support from everyone at work and the whole subject was thoroughly researched being in direct contact with counsellors of BEAT who were extremely helpful in our understanding of some of the issues surrounding the subject of eating disorder and the impact on not just the sufferer but family and friends.

Hi Kelly, yes Ellie is a good friend of mine, I was lucky enough to be invited to her birthday party which was great fun to meet up with lots of other old school friends. I have a key ring with a photo of the night.

I don't think there is a 'length of time' to qualify, just the ability and be lucky enough to get through the audition!!

Hi, not sure I could recommend an agent, my advice would be to do some research and find an agent who can work with you and obviously has contacts in your chosen field. Good Luck with all that you do.

Hi Katy, most definitely not! It certainly would not be good for my health to do that. I spent hours in make up and wore very baggy clothes! The make up department were amazing with the effects they achieved, they made me look so unwell at times.

Question: how did you find the anorexic storyline?
was it hard for you to deal with as a person or could you change roles
quickly? what do you personally think about anorexia?
It was a fantastic storyline to be a part of, as an actress the storyline is perfect and something I couldn't wait to be a part of. It was hard to let go of the role and it was quite upsetting.

Question: Your role requires you to cry rather alot and clearly you
have had quite a few tough storylines to play out at Hollyoaks. How do
you manage to go home after a day at work and "chill out" without
still being in "Hollyoaks mode".....I know I struggle myself?
Yes it was really draining having to cry a lot of the time, When I leave work I like to go for a bit of a work out at the gym, or play squash. I chill out watching movies and reading a good book.
